What is Ukiyo?

Inspired by creativity, culture, music, photography and travel, UKIYO is a global community of individuals that have come together to express themselves. UKIYAN’S are not to be labeled or categorized. This lifestyle, to glide between stereotypical societal labels, allows for individuals to balance their interests, surrounding themselves with different individuals, being forever intrigued and constantly learning. We represent and embody downtown culture. Instead of succumbing to societal norms, we follow passion and create dreams. We want to live in a society that is not dictated to us, but rather created by us, where dreams become reality. The UKIYO mission is to merge style and functionality to inspire a movement towards positivity and inclusion.

2023 Vision

In 2023 it is our goal to scale Ukiyo & Matuki Labs into global brands in both Web 2.0 & 3.0.

The following will serve as a guideline for our journey to global brand recognition.

Below you will find team lead initiatives as well as ways to become more involved in our success as a community member. You will also find our goals and future plans to increase revenue streams. We’ve outlined multiple avenues we will be expanding our focus.

Multi-media approach to provide more exposure for our brand, services, and NFT community.

We’ve come to understand that the Web 3.0 market values hype and attention over grind and development.

We live in an era where the average attention span of digital consumers is very small. If you’re able to constantly acquire and hold the attention of many users you win.

Look at large brands like Barstool sports, Vaynerchuck media, Grant Cardone, Nelk and many others. At their core, they are content companies continuously growing while focusing on providing goods and services to their audience.

We will be prioritizing content platforms like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and twitch.tv over the course of 2023.

Filming and embodying a lifestyle brand one video, post or collaboration at a time. We will use our reach and connections to make waves.

The nature of a streetwear brand is to be in the streets and we will be shifting our brand to capture the different passions of life whether it be skateboarding, surfing, skiing, create music, art, dancing and much more.

We make the push towards more consistent content including graphics, AMA's, podcasts, streams, videos, animations, etc.

2023 GOALS:

  • UKIYO Headquarters where we run company operations, IRL events, photography studio for our brand, podcast and recording studio & more! (Likely to be in Chicago or Miami)

  • Grow our socials to 100k across content platforms

  • Sponsor multiple twitch streamers and launch a web 3 esports team

  • Work with different content creators across social media to rep our clothing brand

  • Collaborate with multiple brands to bring phy-gitial (Physical X Digital) experiences like clothing collabs & traits on Ukiyan's through our upgrade store

  • Work with large scale web 2 clients, creating marketing and UI/UX designs.

  • Surpass $1 million in revenue from our creative agency

  • Scale our subdao businesses into profitable autonomous organizations

  • Explore IRL revenue streams examples include, airbnb, turo, events/concerts

SUB DAOS

Our goal is to establish trait based subdao’s with the intention of empowering our community to get involved. Some subdao’s will try to generate profit, others will provide essential help in growing our brand. Holders of the specific Ukiyo trait will have access to participate within their subdao.

  • The long term goal is to build a global networking community

  • Create a space where different people can come to share ideas, work together and build

  • Post and highlight different news and educational topics in Web 3.0

  • Help founders grow their projects and gain organic exposure

  • Connect different projects together & create a ‘netwrk’ of communities that collab and raid together

CASINO

  • We have launched an affiliate relationship with an online casino

  • Ukiyo holders can be ambassadors earning a commission for referring new players

  • Monthly free plays for Ukiyo holders

  • $ZEN integration into casino

  • We will be looking to hire community members to expand our users - work will include marketing, finding streamers/content creators to promote the casino, promos, etc.

  • So far no trait has claimed the casino as part of a subdao

Treasury management and alpha calls

  • We will launch an alpha call bot that allows us to post alpha calls as a service in other discords

  • We will fund a treasury that the subdao will be able to manage and grow

  • Treasury profit will be used as a way to add new holders to Ukiyo through marketing
